Currently featured in the gallery is a choice show of children's art work by the students of the Lancaster Co-operative Preschool housed at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster.A few views of the show are to be seen on DogStar's Facebook page. The work will be on display through the May 10. Several of the most engaging pieces are available for a donation of between $35 and $60 to the Pre-school's fundraiser.
Opening on May 17 will be the fourth Bodies of Art show, a group exhibition of the best work from the Franklin and Marshall based life-drawing group of that name. Superb Lancaster artist and curator of F&M's Phillips gallery, Claire Giblin has helped to curate and organize this engaging group of drawings.
The Book Witch, May 8: 1-2pm
The always engaging children's hour book reader, Louise Imm-Cooper, will be reading from her 2nd of three special events on "Animals from Eggs" series. As always the reading will be followed by an engaging bit of creative activity making things related to the books read. Recommended for ages 3-6. Free.
